Conditions carefully before accessing or purchasing from Britton. By using our
website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do
not agree, please do not use our services.
Britton is an e-commerce
platform specialising in precision photonics and laser technology products,
including but not limited to: lasers and light sources, optical lenses,
mirrors, prisms, beam splitters, optical fibres, optomechanical mounts and
stages, spectrometers, nonlinear crystals, scientific cameras and detectors,
motion controllers, optical tables, breadboards, and laser safety equipment.
These terms apply to all users,
visitors, and customers of the platform and its associated services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order
●
Corporate or institutional users must have the
authority to bind their organisation to these terms
●
By purchasing regulated products (e.g. Class 3B/4
lasers), you confirm compliance with all applicable national and local
regulations
●
All products are subject to availability and may be
discontinued without notice
●
Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are
inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
●
For international orders, prices may be in USD;
applicable duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility
●
We strive to ensure accurate product specifications and
pricing. Britton reserves the right to correct errors and cancel affected
orders with a full refund
●
Product images are representative; minor cosmetic
differences may exist between the image and the actual product
●
Technical specifications listed are sourced from
manufacturers and may be subject to revision
●
Orders are confirmed only after successful payment
processing or acceptance of a Purchase Order
●
Estimated delivery timelines are stated on the product
page and may vary due to logistics, customs, or manufacturing lead times
●
For made-to-order or imported items, lead times will be
communicated before order confirmation
●
Britton is not liable for delays caused by courier
partners, customs authorities, or force majeure events
●
Customers must ensure the accuracy of delivery
addresses; re-delivery costs for failed attempts are borne by the customer
●
Custom-configured optical systems or specially sourced
products are made to your specific requirements
●
Once production or procurement begins, these orders
cannot be modified or cancelled
●
Technical requirements must be specified in writing at
the time of order; Britton is not liable for performance issues arising from
incomplete or incorrect specifications
●
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch — contact us
immediately upon placing the order
●
Custom or procurement-in-progress orders are
non-cancellable
Britton reserves the right to
cancel orders in cases of:

Product unavailability or discontinued stock
●
Suspected fraudulent or suspicious activity
●
Export control restrictions or regulatory
non-compliance
●
Force majeure events
Approved refunds are processed
to the original payment method within 3–7 business days. For B2B orders,
refunds or credit notes will be issued per the agreed payment terms.

We accept major credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI,
and bank transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
●
For institutional buyers, Purchase Orders (POs) are
accepted subject to credit approval
●
Customers are responsible for providing accurate
payment information
●
Britton will report suspected fraudulent transactions
to the appropriate authorities
●
GST invoices are issued for all orders within India

equipment may be subject to export control regulations. By placing an order,
you confirm that the purchase and use of the product complies with all
applicable laws, including SCOMET regulations (India), EAR (USA), and other
applicable international export control regimes. |
All content on the Britton
website — including logos, product images, technical documents, and text — is
the property of Britton or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction,
distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
Products are warranted to be
free from manufacturing defects as specified by the respective manufacturer.
Britton does not make additional warranties beyond those provided by the
manufacturer. Britton is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising
from improper use, modification, or storage of photonics products.
Britton's total liability for
any claim shall not exceed the invoice value of the product(s) in question.
Britton shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages,
including but not limited to loss of data, loss of research output, or business
interruption.
These terms are governed by the
laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. We encourage resolution through mutual
discussion before escalating to formal proceedings.
Britton is not responsible for
delays, non-performance, or order cancellations caused by events beyond our
reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government
restrictions, port strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
Britton reserves the right to
update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted
on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website following any
changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
